Proacta's first lead program, a hypoxia targeted small-molecule prodrug, is designed to improve the outcomes of current treatment regimes, including chemotherapy and radiotherapy. PR-104 is currently in Phase II clinical trials for small cell lung cancer, with further studies planned for later in the year. A second compound is planned to enter the clinic in 2009.
